Just before you head out – for a trip, shopping or in the evening:
- Close the windows and loggia doors – especially if rain, wind or a thunderstorm is expected.
- Switch off the hob, oven, coffee machine and lights.
- Lock the front door and take the key with you – it also fits the basement door.
- Lock the basement door (access through the garden) if you have left bicycles there.
- In the cold season only turn the heating down, do not switch it off completely.
- Only leave the barbecue in the garden once the embers are completely out.
- Do not leave valuables visible in the car.
