Historischer Glockenstuhl Ziegelroda
Ziegelroda's landmark – only about a 10-minute walk from the holiday home: a free-standing half-timbered bell frame next to St. Mark's Church. Tradition has it that it was built around 1650 after the Thirty Years' War; it was probably rebuilt together with the new church in 1814 – there was not enough money for a church tower. The three bells from 1919 are still rung by hand today.
